You made this happen.

We prepared and served 284 hot meals across two community sites. Every step ran because of you—prep team, chefs, packers, and the crew who delivered to the second site. You worked hard, moved fast, and showed real heart.

We had 30 helpers, each giving about 3.5 hours. That is real impact. It was fun working alongside you, and we hope you felt the same.

This event would not have been possible without all of you.

Special thanks to our EQ Freezer Club members and everyone who supports our Pay-It-Forward meals. You provided the raw materials and supplies that made every meal possible.

We wrapped right at 6 PM. Smooth. Focused. Done right.

WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Eggroll Queen is bringing back its long-awaited egg roll–making classes for the first time in 10 years! Held at the Eggroll Queen Kitchen, these hands-on sessions take place on select dates in February and March 2026.   Mai, the Eggroll Queen, leads each 2-hour class, teaching participants how to prep, season, roll, and fry signature egg rolls from scratch.

From our family to yours, Eggroll Queen is honored to support our community during the SNAP pause. ❤️

On November 5, we served 823 free meals, bringing our total to 1,285 meals shared so far. For Friday, November 7, 1,031 meals were pre-registered. These numbers reflect the strength of a community that chooses care, dignity, and action.♥️

At Eggroll Queen, we believe in sharing what we have with those in need. At the end of each day, when we have extra food left over, we make it a point to ensure it doesn’t go to waste. Our freshly made egg rolls and fried rice are packed up and delivered to local homeless shelters. It’s important to us that the food we create not only brings joy to our customers but also helps those who are going through tough times. Knowing that our meals provide nourishment to someone who might otherwise go hungry makes our work feel even more meaningful.

We are stronger together.

I will wrap up the month of February by saying Eggroll Queen did accomplish a lot because of the support from our communities. That said, I will outlined what we accomplished together for the month of February 2016.

Saint Paul Neighborhood Honor Roll Volunteer Award Night – January 29, 2016Highlights During 2015, District Councils worked with more than 2,000 volunteers on behalf of Saint Paul neighborhoods, including more than 1,000 board and committee members.

• Field more than 17,000 resident requests
• Served more than 7,000 neighbors visiting district council offices
• Organized and maintained nearly 250 block clubs
• Made recommendations to the city on more than 260 zoning and licensing issues
• Kept more than 30,000 subscribers current on neighborhood issues and events via email
• Mailed regular updates about neighborhood issues and events to nearly 55,000 residents
• Reached more than 80,000 subscribers through social media
• Hosted a wide range of neighborhood events, including festivals, garden tours, pancake breakfasts, home improvement fairs and garage sales.  Most of these events were each attended by between 100 and 1,000 community members.

In the preparation of our egg rolls, we use only the freshest meat (ground pork or chicken), clear noodle, carrot, cabbage, sweet onion, salt, black pepper, egg, Hoisin Sauce, and Mai’s special ingredient.

Every week, we pick a park or two to do community clean-up.  At the park, we ask kids to help picked up garbage around the area so that it is clean and safe for everyone to play.
