We should have ordered two bowls. Our toddler devoured the fried rice with a big grin on his face and kept asking for more. It's savory, not too salty, and approved by adults and kids alike. Not sure what to call the style (vermicelli heavy) but it’s one of my favorite types of egg rolls. Also these are thick with 7 c’s. I agree with other reviews that say it’s a bit oily, but I let it sit on a couple paper towels while I drive home and by the time I ate it the she was toasty and shatteringly crispy. 8.5/10 probably the best egg roll for the price point you can get in the area. 5 bucks is a deal if you consider a lot of other places want 3.50 for an egg roll full of mostly cabbage and with a super thick shell. Fried rice was also good, but this is a tougher category to really impress in. Price was fair considering the amount and that it’s a food truck. Overall I enjoyed it, but it could maybe use some more msg or maybe a side of chili oil or something. still would recommend it to accompany the egg roll if you aren’t going for the 3 roll deal. This is clearly a business that figured out their formula and sticks to it. Consequently nothing was mind blowing, but I feel supremely confident I could hit any of their trucks and be very happy with my meal and that’s something not to be taken for granted. Would definitely recommend these guys any day of the week :) Side note: maybe someone can answer this… Do they ever offer their other dishes from the tricks? Their eggrolls are, without a doubt, some of the yummiest I've ever tasted. Every single time, they hit the spot with their perfectly crispy shells and delicious fillings. Beyond the fantastic food, their service is truly amazing. The team is always friendly, efficient, and genuinely happy to serve. It's clear they care about their customers and the quality of their food. They're also incredibly generous, especially during Teacher Appreciation Week. They provided a massive tray of eggrolls and a variety of their fantastic dessert eggrolls for 60 teachers – it was such a thoughtful and delicious way to show support. We were all so grateful! We're always looking forward to seeing them pull up in Cottage Grove.
